Our first honey harvest

We had the unfortunate experience of having one of Our beehives die out over this winter. The only good thing about that happening is that we were able to harvest the remaining honey that was left over. This was our first attempt in harvesting honey.

39th b-day

Well I celebrated my 39th birthday just about a week ago and shannon treated me to a very unusual weekend. I had one of the best meals I've had in a long time however the hotel stay was the highlight of the trip.

Indiana children's museum

Shannon and I took the kids to the Indiana children's museum During our spring break. The place was very busy due to everyone else having the same idea and being off from school. I don't think we will come back here during this time of year again. The kids still had fun though and it was lots for them to do.

Reilly turns 6

We had Reilly's 6th bday at house of bounce in grove city with all if his Friends from preschool and babysitters.

Spring snow day

Well our biggest snow storm of the season took its time to appear this year. All winter long we would see storm after storm miss us, with small 1-2" accumulations here and there. Hike 10 miles away and someone else was getting 6" or more. Well we waited until march 25th to finally get a decent amount of snow. I should add...it was the best packing snow. The boys played outside all day long and we worked on a huge snow fort.
