Weekend at the cabin

We spent the past weekend down in Berrysville at the Flaum Family cabin. Pop pop, grandma and Erin and Christopher were all down there as well, which added to the fun. The kids got an early start to the fun and were the first to arrive with Pop pop and grandma early Friday afternoon. Shannon and I arrived after work on Friday a few hours later. We spent the first evening around the campfire visiting. On Saturday morning, Pop pop and grandma treated us all to a great breakfast and Pop pop got to fine tune his pancake flipping technique. The rest of the day, we hiked around, built another campfire, tried our luck at some fishing and took lots of tractor rides. Shannon started getting really sick over the weekend and we decided to head home early (Sat. night), instead of leaving on Sunday afternoon. Reilly and Kellen had a great time despite the early departure. The cabin is always on the top of our lists of our favorite places!

Waiting for Spring!

We'll it seems that we have not added any new posts in quite some time. Maybe it is the result of old man winter's impact on your attitude, or maybe it's the fact that we have not been getting out much lately. However, the weather has been warming up little by little and the boys are always anxiuos about getting outside to play.
