Easter
We were planning to celebrate Easter this year in Youngstown to celebrate all the hard work that Grandma Debbie did on her new house in Austintown.
Those plans were altered somewhat when Reilly decided to throw up all over the place on Saturday morning, just a few hours before we were all getting ready to leave. So it was decided that Kellen and I would travel up to Y-town together and Shannon would stay home with Reilly. Kellen had a good time travelling solo with dad, an opportunity to get all the attention. We arrived in Youngstown on Saturday afternoon. Mom gave us a quick tour of her BEAUTIFUL newly remodeled home.
We then went over to grandma Hart's house for the rest of the day....had a Easter egg hunt, played outside, and ate Belleria Pizza for dinner later that day. We traveled back to Grandma Debbie's that night to spend the night...and snuck in a late night snack of Quaker Steak wings! The next morning, Kellen woke up and came downstairs where he found that the Easter bunny had arrived. After opening his Easter basket,
he played the rest of the morning and was forced to take a short nap before everyone arrived for Easter dinner. Kellen was fairly cranky after he work up from his nap, a mood that didn't really turn around until a few hours later. Of course, he was as pleasant as could be all the way home, with all of dad's attention.
